Welcome to the Pima County Health Department Oral Health Program page. The Oral Health Coordinator for Pima County, Margaret Perry, has been kind enough to include the Pre Dental Honor Society in future volunteer opportunities.  As a volunteer you will gain first hand clinical experience that you may not be able to gain anywhere else. These opportunities are open to all Pre Dental club members; however,  before you can volunteer you will have to register with the Pima County Volunteer Services website before you will be allowed to volunteer at any event (http://www.azvolunteer.com/). After registering you will then need to contact Margaret Perry and schedule a volunteer time that will work for the both of you. Next, You will also have to sign additional volunteer documents with Mr. Tim Siemsen, the Volunteer Resources Coordinator for the Pima County Health Department before your volunteer date. Please e-mail him after you have a definite date set with Margaret Perry. Avoid signing up for dates that you may have to cancel, we know that sometimes it can not be avoided but we would like to avoid repeat cancellation's. Please remember that you are representing the University of Arizona's Pre Dental Honor Society; when volunteering please dress appropriately. Open toed shoes and T-shirts are not allowed. Scrubs may be preferred.
